(edit...edit) Cradel, I am confused, I am listing to crappy, You Tube "Peter Gabrial" at unGodly volumes out of my sinfull A8 clones. He sounds great, and no boxy bass. What are you complaining about?

Might revisit the holey back idea?
Nothing like a great big pair of speakers to make your day.

It's on tour, maybe coming to a theater near you. My wife saw it a few weeks ago and loved it. She generally does not like musicals.

cradeldorf, great looking baffles. I like the oval shape. Can't imagine that you're getting much bass, but it ought to sound nice and clean.

Cool! You may want to experiment with some of the UtraTouch cotton insulation across the opening in the back. It's great stuff. From 1 layer to many, it's worth experimenting, tho it will take a good bit of work and trial and error. But I'm sure you can find a good combo of open and closed that works for you and your room.

That's actually a comedy, I beleive, and it's not a WW2 movie. More like a spoof of an action movie.

I don't think I've ever run across a bad WW2 movie....... well except Pearl Harbor that had that weird love triangle thing going on.
